I used the services of Assisting Angels several times over the past two years. Sherry Atwell and her staff were always ready and able to help me when I requested the services of a caregiver for my wife. There was no time when my request was not filled.
The caregivers were always punctual, courteous, well groomed and professional. they always arrived in time to be thoroughly briefed on my wife’s condition and needs. Although my wife needed little more than to have someone in the house while I was gone, I never felt that she was not watched over. One of the occasions when she needed a meal to be served, the caregivers ensured that she was given her meal at the requested time, and that she ate her meal, and even cleaned up after her.
My wife never indicated in any way that she was less than pleased with the services of the caregivers, and I never had reason to doubt that the services they provided were of the highest quality.
I would heartily recommend the services of Assisting Angels Home Care!Peter D. Mountain Home, Idaho Dec. 19, 2013 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To the whole crew at Assisting Angels, Thank you all for all the care and concern for my husband, and also for me. A special thank you to Tammy who spent time and care of bath days and most respite days. She is such a caring and special person you have in your employment. I tell everyone if they ever need home care that you are the best! Florence W. Caldwell, Idaho February 1, 2013 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Sonya, Just thought I would touch base with you now that things have settled down a bit after Mom’s death. The family would like to thank you and all of your staff for the time and effort that you put into Mom’s care. 24 hour care has to be so hard to schedule, but I don’t remember a single time that any shifts were missed. And all of your staff were so nice to Mom even after her asking to go to the bathroom for the 50th time in a couple of hours. Cher and Trish and Mary should have stars in their crown for sure. If you need any letters or recommendation or if any of your clients would like to talk to me or any of the family please don’t hesitate to give out our # or email. Again Thanks and God Bless you and your staff… I miss bringing them starbucks coffee in the morning and watching Judge Judy with them in the evening. R. H. To all you “angels” –
I want to thank you for all the help and assistance you provided us during the past few years and the sympathy you extended at the death of my mother. I truly had peace of mind when I had to be out of town, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your agency to anyone who needed similar care.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your kind help and your professionalism. There aren’t many companies left in this day and age that still hold a strong sense of work ethics and professionalism (that also take a client’s needs under consideration with a true, genuine attitude of empathy). Special thanks to Joy, Trish, and of course, Brenda – and to the polite receptionists (who always get the messages straight, and they really seem to care about each and every call). Thanks to you all for a great job – you’re all special!”

Dear Assisting Angels Team and Sonya,
I deeply appreciate the help and care you and your people have given to my wife and I over the last few months. Special thanks to Teri and Carisa. L.B. – Boise, Idaho
I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all the time that you have taken to find qualified caregivers to help with our mom.
You were recommended to us by a friend, and we were not given wrong information. You have been very conscientious in your screening process and upfront when we asked your advice. If there was any problem, you were always available to help handle the situation – even to stepping in and taking a shift to help with Mom.
You have made it much easier with this next stage in our lives – the care of our mom. If any new client would like a recommendation from us, we are very happy to talk with them or write them a personal letter of recommendation.

…Brenda Critell, owner/manager of Assisting Angels, provided emotional reassurance to me and to my family in her first conversation with us. Within two or three days, she came to my parents’ home to get acquainted with my parents and to assess their needs, emotional, physical, and financial. Within one day of her initial visit to my parents’ home, she provided a real “angel” who came to sit with my father while my mother ran some very necessary errands. In the ensuing weeks, angels have helped transport my parents to their doctors’ appointments, sat with my father while my mother left to deal with household business, and offered sound advice to my parents regarding VA and other benefits for which they may be eligible.
While I would rather I could be in Boise to sit with my father, this simply isn’t possible. The next best thing (and some could argue the best thing) has been for us to work with Brenda and her staff. These professionals offer compassionate, sensible, humor-filled assistance on an as-needed basis for my parents. They have become friends to my parents as much as care givers. In addition, Brenda, herself has offered sound advice to me and to my mother as we and the rest of the family begin to navigate waters we somehow never imagined we would need to navigate.
If you or someone you love is in a similar situation, I would wholeheartedly recommend that the first call you make be to Brenda and her Assisting Angels. These skilled and generous-hearted people will help you sort out priorities for the care of your loved one, will provide competent, thoughtful assistance to you as well as your needful family member, and will be completely honest with you when your family needs exceed their capacity to be helpful. I cannot adequately express to you how much it has meant to every one of us in our family to know that we can call upon these people whom we now count as friends to give us honest advice and assistance. They have helped significantly as we have pulled back from the brink of our emergent problem. Their assistance to us in our time of great need has been tremendously reassuring to my father, who is very aware that his illness places enormous demands upon my mother.
Life brings great challenges to all of us at times. It is a tremendous blessing to our family to know that good, capable, kind, and caring people are ready to help at Assisting Angels.
